my favorite place to be.....well 2nd to my husband's arms... :)

As you can see in my last post, it's probably time for me to take a few days off and go on a vacation...you think, really should I??? I haven't had a day off since I got back from camp and even though I had the week of camp off, it still was a lot of work, so does that really count? I haven't had a weekend off besides a holiday thing since I started working professionally as a massage therapist (you gotta work those Sat's for clients) and I have in the last year started seeing clients on Sundays as well to fit them in. So, I think I am due for a break. We always take off the few days that revolve around my birthday and our anniversary. We figure we might as well, and those are good excuses! :) Last year, we stayed mostly at home since we had just bought the house and didn't want to spend too much money otherwise. This year though, we are making the trip to Arizona! I'm so super excited! We will be flying into Phoenix and then driving around 2 hours away to a place owned by a client's mom. We get to stay there basically for free, all I have to do is give her 2 massages while I'm there which is no big deal for me. Even though it will be a short trip (Sat-Wed) we will get to go to Sedona, which will only be about 35 minutes away and we get to see the Grand Canyon! Travis and I both have never seen it, so this will be a big deal. We will also try to fit in some resting time and time spent by the pool. So, by this time tomorrow I will be getting ready to board my plane and get the heck out of here! Please help us pray for safe and easy travels and that my doula client, who is due Sept. 7th, doesn't go into labor while I'm gone...don't worry, I did find her a back-up doula. Adios!
