So we have a bet then?

As part of my ongoing quest to watch anything that may have the slightest bit of cool-factor, me and my nephew engaged ourselves into a bet of sorts. He's an avid fan of the J.J. Abrams series, Alias. I am an avid fan of the J.J. Abrams series, LOST. To my knowledge, neither of us care about the J.J. Abrams series, Felicity, though at least Morgan, and possibly Deanna, are obsessed with it. Ryan detests LOST and I have no opinion on Alias except that Jennifer Garner is kinda hot sometimes. So, much to our collective chagrin, we have decided to swap shows. We got Alias Season 1 in exchange for LOST Season 1. I suppose the bet part is that we see whether the other person can make it through all the seasons before giving up. We've got 3 episodes down so far and I'm not exactly begging for more. I hear it gets better, but from what I've seen so far, the music drives me insane (shades of late 90's pop-rock, generally female), the action is a little hard for me to swallow, and Jennifer Garner and crew are maybe the worst spies in the history of spydom. But, a bet is a bet, and I'll make it through these 5 seasons just for spite if I have to. So...anyone else have a challenge for the Patten House in regards to TV? We'll generally send LOST your way in exchange for your clearly inferior show, but we can negotiate other exchanges as well. The gauntlet is laid down. Who's going to pick it up?
