I am dog sitting again. I started again today and will continue through next Friday the 6th. 10 days in total. So, if I end up seeming a little distant or don't get things done like i'm supposed to, please kick me in the rear but also understand that I am preoccupied by a little white dog named Buddy and living out of a duffel bag.
They left me money for trash stickers today. That means I have to purchase trash stickers. Now, if you don't already know this, I have never had to do this before. I/We have lived in apartments until last summer so we always had a dumpster. And now, even though we're in a house, I bring my trash over to my office. The dumpster here is hardly full and it gets emptied once a week, so I see no harm in doing that. You may be wondering, well what do you do with really big trash that may not fit in your car well, etc. etc. Well, we just carry that to a dumpster in our addition that's left there by the construction crew building new homes. I know, it's wrong, but it saves us money on trash stickers. I found out today that they are $2 a sticker! Seriously? That's a lot! So, I consider myself very smart and lucky that I bring mine over here to my office! But, today I will abide by the rules and get stickers for their trash. Wish me luck in this new endeavor! :)

What in the world is a trash sticker? Our association dues pay for trash removal and we can put up to like 10 bags out at a time...does that mean you have to pay $2/bag...that must be a weird b'ton thing
You're taking advantage of dumpsters... thief. Actually we do the exact same thing, except Jared brings our trash to the firehouse... Trash stickers seem a bit ridiculous, I would take the money and run. :)
It might be a Bloom. thing. You have to buy stickers, they're $2 each and you have to put one on each bag you have or on each can (which would be the cheaper way to go) and then if you have lawn scraps, those are a separate sticker that is $1. I think this goes no matter what trash company you go w/ too, and usually each person is responsible for picking out their own trash pick-up service. This is why we avoid all of this and i take it to work w/ me....more hassle in one aspect, but i think it helps big time!
