We're spending the day Easter style

Happy Easter everyone! I hope ya'll had a great day! Even though the weather wasn't top notch on the "How I would like my Easter weather to be" scale (it's a real scale, forecasters use it all the time), we still had a great day. It started out with going to church late as usual and luckily still being able to find a seat in the balcony. After we came home to make the food we needed to take with us for the day, we got on the road with our soundtrack of all Radiohead songs....Travis had taken the time to download every Radiohead album on his ipod....very cool & very sweet of him to do that! We stopped off at his family's first to drop off him & the food we made. I made my rounds looking at the new babies (so cute) & saying hi to everyone while also apologizing for not staying. Then I headed off to my family's. We had a good time there! We ate, played Scattergories (always a must now), then it was egg hunt time! Evan got to do his first Easter egg hunt! He did such a good job. But of course, the big kids had to do their own hunt as well. Mom was a mad hider of the eggs and it took us a good while, but I think we finally got them all. I think I have an injured left lower back from someone knocking me over though! Since it really didn't seem as cold at that moment as it really was, we strolled down to the creek so Evan could get close to the water. I think that was my favorite part of the day! I'm looking forward to it being warm enough for him to get in the water! After things wound down, we headed back to Joyce & Kevin's and hung out there till pretty late. I got caught up on what had happened there all day, we got to go on Kevin's new bus, and Jerod and Amy stopped back by again. Finally, pretty late at night, we got home. I was exhausted but ended up staying up quite a bit longer. But that's ok cause today I don't go to work till 1! I have all 5 clients right in a row from 1-8. I actually got to sleep in w/ Travis! I love it when I can do that! Even though I don't sleep near as late as he does. :) Here are a couple of pics that Jeanelle took.....
