McLovin, 25 Year-Old Organ Donor

I've been informed it's my duty to write up the Superbad review for the blog. I've put a lot of thought into it and I've decided that it's going to rank very high in my "favorite comedies" section. Possibly Top 5 material. The thing about the movie that brings it up a notch from other "high school comedies" is that unlike most of them, people talk like real human beings in this one. They talk how me and my friends talked in high school. Morgan said it reminded her a little of American Pie, but way better. I'll agree that it was way better, but American Pie is a prime example of a movie that makes high school kids sound completely different than they actually sound. I also can't get by without mentioning Jonah and Michael as the leads of the movie. Jonah has stolen scenes in multiple movies for the Apatow Gang, and he finally gets the chance to shine as the star of this one. Michael, beloved by me from his days on Arrested Development, continues his absolutely brilliant comedic timing in the awkward teenager role he hopefully doesn't typecast himself into. I can't decide if I liked this or Knocked Up better, but either way, as long as Judd Apatow and his band of merry men keep making movies together, I'll be laughing for years to come.

i didn't so much say it was like american pie, but had a similar plot but took it to a whole new level of comedy...matured and w/ a better sense of humor!
