"White People Food!"

I've noticed, that the less money I have, or the more I try to save my money, the worse my diet gets. Some of you are reading this saying to yourself, "But her diet is already horrible!" "She doesn't eat anything!" "All she does is consume fruit and coffee!" I get criticized on my diet quite a bit - either that I don't eat enough, that I eat too many sweets, that I drink too much caffeine, or the complete opposite, that I eat too healthy and am too strict with my food. I have even been accused of being anorexic, etc etc. I swear people, I do eat!! Leave me alone!! But anyway, back to the whole point of this post, as I try to save money, one thing I do which probably isn't great, is I try to eat less or just don't waste gas and money to go out and buy food. Sometimes this is a good thing and I bring food from home or get healthy snacks. But sometimes this means that I fill up on stuff that is just plain stupid to eat, like candy, cold coffee, or gas station food - did you know that you can get a sandwich and a polar pop for like 3 bucks!! That's so much cheaper than my $6-10 meal or snacks from the health food store! Anyway, not sure why I'm putting all of this on here, but it's probably cause I had a client cancel, but I don't want to spend money by leaving my office, so here I am typing instead of getting work done like organizing client files or working on church camp stuff.

i'm actually going to post on our blog tonight about my recent obsession about saving money. since i went part time i've been trying harder. i never really was a big "go out to eat" person... but you realize that if you really try you can buy 3 boxes of cereal for the one panera bagel. (even though they are SO GOOD!) check it out.

wow! that is a massive save! but i understand having to save! i can't believe how much less money we have now compared to the past!
