You ready for Christmas?

So is Thanksgiving really over already?! I feel like Halloween should barely be over at this point, much less Thanksgiving! Every day, I swear at least 5 people ask me if I'm ready for Christmas yet. I just never know how to answer this question. I mean, I am ready, of course. I would like for the holidays to be here, but there are a million reasons I'm not ready, how could I be 100% ready for Christmas yet? We have most of our decorations up so far, but there are a few touches left that we haven't gotten to yet. And then there is the fact that I haven't bought any presents yet! I can't believe I have basically the rest of this week and then next to get everything! We sat down and mapped out what we needed to get everyone, and it seems pretty simple on paper, but then it makes me kind of insane when I try to come up with time to actually go and get it all! And, I honestly just don't have any interest in going and getting it. I feel bad for that, but it just doesn't seem like it's time for buying presents yet, and that makes it hard for me to get in the spirit I guess. Even though I like Christmas, I think one thing that makes me dread it is that it's over way too soon, and then we have the rest of winter to sit through....the snow really isn't all that much fun anymore, January lasts forever, and February is pretty much my least favorite month. But, to answer everyone's question, Yes, I'm ready for Christmas! :) Here are some pictures of our 12, yes, 12 foot tree we recently purchased! It took an entire Sunday afternoon, 3 stores, and rearranging our dvd collection, but we got it put together and decorated. Thanks to Jacci for her assistance! Couldn't have done it without you! :)
