Wedding, wedding, wedding...

This last weekend was a great one! I feel it really started on Wednesday night/Thursday day. Travis hosted Ryan's bachelor party on Thursday, so Wednesday night after we got off work, we had to put together any last minute touches that needed to be made. That meant more cleaning, grocery shopping for all these guys, and then baking cookies till 2am. Thursday was kind of a strange day because it seemed like my schedule was changed about 20 times and it felt like a Friday since Travis was off on the bachelor party. I gave Deanna a pre-wedding massage that she didn't know she was going to get, so I felt good that I was able to do that for her. She needed it! After work, I went home to cook some food for the guys and then I was off to watch The Strangers with Joey and Dominic - another reason why it felt like the weekend already. I was really excited to watch this movie cause I love scary movies! And I was excited to hang out with Joey and Dom! After the movie, I went over to Ryan and Deanna's apartment to spend the night with her and their friend Danny's wife Suzanne. I felt bad getting there so late, but of course since it was 2 nights before the wedding, they were still up! :P Friday ended up being an easy day because I had a couple of clients cancel and I wasn't able to fill their spots. I tried to get Ryan in for a massage, but he couldn't end up getting one. I took advantage of the free time by running some errands, went home to get ready for the rehearsal dinner, and then got to the dinner early to help set up. That night went well, after an easy-going practice of the wedding, we ate some good pasta, salad, and garlic bread from Buccetos courtesy of Pam and Tim, got to sit around and socialize, and then went home where Jeanelle, Jeff, and Evan were going to spend the night with us. That was a lot of fun as well. It was nice to have them over just to hang out, talk and watch a movie. Unfortunately Saturday morning I had 2 clients, but it was ok since I had lost money on Friday. I still got a little bit of time in with Jeanelle, Jeff and Evan which was nice. Then it was off to the wedding! It was such a great wedding too! I can't think of anything that went wrong the whole day - if something did go wrong, it sure wasn't visible to the regular guest. And Deanna looked amazing. I told her, she had to have been the most beautiful bride I had seen in a while! I literally had my breath taken away which doesn't normally happen. I think it was because she was so much more beautiful than how we see her everyday. It was like Deanna times 10! We all had a great time the whole day, and after some much needed dancing, Travis and I finally left the reception. It's funny, because I had prayed early on in the week that the week would go by slowly so we could all really sit back and enjoy all of the fun stuff going on. And it really did go by slowly! I feel like this entire spring/summer has just flown by faster than usual and I wanted just to be able to enjoy this fun week. But, it still is amazing that it's already over. After so much preparation for something and then it's over in a heartbeat! It's like, now they're married, and we all move on. How strange that always is! Well, we finished off our weekend with our Sunday. We both ended up having the day off because the 2 clients I had scheduled canceled. I could have booked both spots again, but I decided to keep it like it was and enjoy the day with Travis. We went to church ( i didn't even do childcare) and then watched Get Smart. Then in the evening we had movie night with Amber and Tiffany. That was a fun, great way to finish off the weekend!

I have started this week with some anxiety though thinking about all that I need to get done for church camp and RC Kids. I about hyperventilate every time I think about either one (or both as I tend to think of both at the same time). I have a lot of decisions to make and a lot of work to do for both and very little time to do them in. But, I know the Lord will get me through it all if I just make sure I listen to Him and follow His instructions.
