We can actually see the floor of our garage again!

Last night we were outside doing yard work and garage cleaning/organizing until 10pm. Travis opened yesterday and I got home a little earlier than I have been lately (before 9pm rather than after 9) so we took advantage of that time and started cleaning up. Travis is hosting Ryan's bachelor party tomorrow night so all the guys will end up back at our house for poker, etc. We have a large home-made poker table that we brought in from the garage into our living room, but then we realized, some of the guys may insist on cigars during poker (like that makes you a better player or something) I don't mind this at all, but I really don't want the smoke in our not-even-a-year-old house. I was mildly addicted to cigars for a while - and by addicted I mean I smoked like one every couple of days for about 3 weeks or so. But I soon became very sick of them and now I can't really imagine every wanting to smoke one again w/o getting sick to my stomach. So, that's another reason I would be happy if the smell was not in my house when I came home Friday night. That's right, I won't be staying at our house Thursday night. I have been kicked out and maybe even Stifler has, but I'm trying to arrange it so he can stay there. I will be staying at my friend Joey's apartment since they are not living in it right now. It's right down the road from our house and right down the road from my home-visit client who is my first client on Friday. I will be able to catch up on some good reading while I'm staying there which is nice. But anyway, back to us working last night. So we realized that we needed to put the poker table back into the garage, but that meant we needed to clean the garage. It was very filthy. I could barely get my car in there due to all of the stuff we have in there like bags of rock, a saw, plants, etc. From 9ish to 10ish we cleaned that out, I mowed the yard (yes, in the dark) I added rock to the garden, and we took all of the trash to a dumpster in our neighborhood. We were going to make a late night Walmart run as well to get all the food for tomorrow but we decided we would wait and do that tonight. Also tonight, I need to do another deep clean to the house and bake cookies. Ryan is allergic to cats, so I need to make sure I get everything dusted and vacuumed for him to be able to more easily spend the night. I will probably do another sweep tomorrow before they all get there as well. So needless to say, I am pretty tired today. I have a 4pm opening today that I have tried to fill but no one has taken it yet, but I may just stop trying and leave it open and take a nap during that time. I still have a 5:30 client and I'm doing chair massages at from 7-9 tonight so a nap might be nice!
