Happy Valentine's Day
I hope everyone out there had a "sweet" day today! For the last few years Travis and I have tried to celebrate V-day on the actual day and I've really enjoyed doing that rather than waiting till the weekend. It helps me have an excuse to get off work a little earlier too! I still saw 5 clients today, but I was done by 3:30 which was nice! Then I went to Sam's Club to get Travis a box of 24 Zero candy bars for his gift :) We had made reservations for St. Elmo's in Indy for 10:15 tonight....I know that's super late, but that's all they had by the time I called a few weeks ago. We had planned on getting our paint at Menards then heading up to Indy to do whatever and then eat, then come home. But, my doula client who is due in March called with kind of bad news that she needs to be induced for multiple reasons. They brought her in tonight and then will truly get underway tomorrow with the induction. Even though I probably won't be needed till late morning tomorrow, I didn't want to be too far from Bloomington just in case. So, out of the blue, we got the idea to drive to Greencastle instead to eat at one of our fave's, Marvins! So we did it! It was fun! It was closer and wouldn't take as long. We got to see Kyle while we were there because he stopped in with some guys he works with on their lunch break (he works night shift). Then we visited with Travis parents and ended up getting home about the same time we would've if we had just gone to Indy....oh well. When we got home, we were tired and carrying paint in when I realized Travis had some on him! One of the cans (out of 6) was open and had leaked a big puddle in his back seat. So, we spent the next 20 minutes or so cleaning that up. I think I got most of it. Now, for some reason, I'm still up typing this. I should totally be in bed because I have to be at church at 8am and may have a super long day ahead of me with this birth, but you never can be for sure with these things. Please keep this client in your thoughts, she needs all the help we can give her. Again, Happy Valentine's Day and goodnight! :) By the way....I missed Lost tonight and probably won't get to watch it for a while, so don't tell me what happened!
